This series is turning out to be the most popular series yet! We’ve seen over 40 writers come out most weeks, and the caliber of talent has been very good! We had 2- 11 year old contestants who were fantastic, with one of them winning the audience pick! Viewership online continues to grow each week, we are amazed how many are watching and voting for their favorite song!

Ava and Brittany will come back and join 12 other writers for the semi-final round to be held Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at Wild Wing Cafe. The finals will be held Wednesday, March 3, 2016 at Wild Wing Cafe.

Judges
CHARLES ALEXANDER: Charles is an independent singer/songwriter, digital music strategist and music technology educator. He is the founder of Outside The Box Music, a digital services company. He is also an artist manager, and established “Rock The Net”, a digital music initiative geared towards educating artists, songwriters, artist managers and other music business professionals on how to leverage the internet and other online platforms. He has been a NewSong Music regional finalist and performs at venues like The Bluebird Cafe in Nashville, Tennessee on a regular basis. He is an ardent advocate for independent music.

CHUCK WHITING: Chuck is a Nashville-based publicist, music publisher, author and composer. His company, Music City Arts Network, represents country artist Scott Coner (Tanya Tucker duet/”Maybe She Lied”) and Chakra Bleu (number one pop/rock hit “All Of Me”). He also is the founder of the monthly “Tunesmithing” songwriters showcase at the Aloft Hotel West End. Chuck also serves as the editor of the arts publication Music City Arts Update.

AUSTIN EVANS: Austin is the creator and owner of The Workshop Music, Nashville’s first and only 24-hour writing space. With a passion for music and those who create it, Austin has made a place where writers can come any time to hone their craft and meet other driven creatives.
