Another fantastic night at Nashville Rising Star, in spite of a surprise snowstorm right as people were driving to Wild Wing Cafe. We thought we might see 10 writers, but we ended up having 32 brave souls make their way through the snow to share their song! We had the rare occurrence of our music judges winner being the same as the audience winner, so our judges picked an alternate winner. It ended up being another 11 year old, Marisa McKaye! This will go down as the series of the youngsters!

Here’s a recap of Preliminary Round 6:

Our winners from Nashville Rising Star Preliminary Round #6. From left to right, Greg Seneff (Music Industry Judge), Eric Mallon (Music Industry Judge), Kim Shrum (Music Industry Judge), Emma Feldman (Audience and Music Industry Judges Winner), Marisa McKaye (Music Industry Judges Alternate Winner), Sue Mohr (Emcee), Keith Mohr (NRS Creator/Director)
