We had another fun night at Nashville Rising Star in spite of the usual Wednesday thunderstorms that seem to hit Nashville right at drive time! We heard lots of good songs at this round, and had a great time!

ANDY SHERIDAN- Andy is a musician and producer here in Franklin, TN. Andy toured with Phil Vassar as his full-time keyboardist for 4 years. He is now the full time band leader, keyboardist/acoustic guitar player for Hunter Hayes and has had the opportunity of performing with well-known artist such as the legendary Stevie Wonder, John Legend, Jason Mraz, Ashley Monroe and Patrick Monahan from Train. Johnny Douglas- Classically trained pianist. 8 years study at The Toronto Conservatory of Music. Signed as songwriter to SONY, EMI and ORBISON Publishing Companies for a combined 9 years. Signed as artist to A&M, COLUMBIA, RCA and EPIC record labels. Wrote, performed and produced over 150 songs used in TV and film.

Shows include The Middle, Beverly Hills 90210, Smallville, Party of Five, Shameless, Necessary Roughness, The Young and The Restless, Ghost Whisperer, Blue Mountain State, Big Tips Texas, Do No Harm, The Alectrix, The Listener, DeGrassi, Us and Them, Harvest Moon.

Films include A Cinderella Story, Playing for Keeps, Loser, Trick ‘R Treat, Screwballs, All In, A Million Happy Nows.

Wrote, performed and produced theme songs and/or background music for documentaries on Sheryl Crow, Johnny Cash, Dolly Parton, Patsy Cline, The Mamas and Papas, The Lovin’ Spoonful and others.
